High Impact Strength ABS
ABS, or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, is a member of the Styrene family. It shares many properties of polystyrene, the main difference being that it is considerably tougher and more resistant to impact, even at temperatures of up to – 40ºC (for special-grade ABS). The standard stock holding of ABS plastic sheets is white, however other colours are available on request, master batch to be matched and a minimum of 3 tons required. Black can be ordered at a minimum volume of 1 to 1.5 tons.

Key features of ABS
ABS finishes and bonding?
Extruded ABS material, can be readily punched, cold bent, sawn, drilled and milled on conventional metalworking or wood-working machines. Preference is given to ultrasonic techniques. Bonding with adhesives: Articles can be bonded together with the aid of solvents but this applies only to articles produced from the same material.

Applications of ABS
We extrude the best ABS Plastic sheets, which is one of the most widely used plastics. As a result of its high impact resistance and suitability for heavy duty applications ABS is particularly suitable for vacuum forming, with wide acceptance in the automotive industries. Added UV coating for protection means the printing and display markets can take advantage as ABS plastic still out performs even under extreme weather conditions .
